Aston Martin DB5 Tires
Originally, Aston Martin DB5s were outfitted with 670 H 15 Avon Turbospeed crossply tires. If you desire the top-spec and asked Aston to install radial tires, they installed the 185 VR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67 and possibly Borrani wheels (if you were lucky).
If you want something a little taller, Pirelli offers the 205 WR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN72, which has a period carcass and will handle considerably better than a modern tire on a classic car. It's worth mentioning that because the DB5 is a bespoke hand-built automobile, each model is unique; in fact, each wheel arch is unique, thus they might not fit your car.
Because of its vintage asymmetric design and progressive handling, the 205/70 VR 15 Michelin XWX is another ideal alternative for the DB5 Aston Martin. The CINTURATO CN72 and the Michelin XWX are both premium tires produced by the world's leading tire manufacturers.

The Aston Martin DB5 Vantage and Volante run on the same tires as the normal DB5.
Aston Martin DB5 Innertubes
Because the DB5 was introduced on wire wheels, innertubes are required. The Michelin 15F innertube is the finest for these standard sizes. A 15/17H Michelin innertube is recommended for a 205-15 tire.

History of the Aston Martin DB5
Aston Martin DB5 Poster
The DB5 was manufactured from 1963 to 1965, with a total of 1,059 vehicles produced. The most renowned and recognizable Bond automobile, the DB5, originally seen in 1964's Goldfinger and many 007 films since, a true British classic icon.
The Aston Martin Company was founded by Robert Barnford and Lionel Martin to create racing automobiles. They began in 1913 and used an Isotta-Fraschini chassis to build their automobiles. Lionel Martin's surname and the Aston Clinton Hill climb race inspired the name. Their reputation for fast automobiles expanded swiftly, and they soon set speed records.
By 1924, the first of several new owners had taken over the firm. Though management and ownership seemed to change often, their aims were to develop vehicles capable of breaking records and winning races. After WWII, manufacturing was sluggish and money was scarce. In 1947, industrialist David Brown purchased the Aston Martin Manufacturer as well as the Lagonda automotive company. David Brown's initial would be displayed on the automobiles for many years, and his contributions to the corporation were remarkable rather than just financial.
The DB1, the first in the DB series, was unveiled in 1948, with only 14 produced. The DB2 was released in 1950, featuring a Lagonda engine and styling by a Lagonda designer. More than 400 DB2s were produced in all. Only ten DB3s were built, and they were more of a race vehicle. The DB4 was an extremely powerful and competitive automobile that competed with Ferrari and Maserati Carrozzeria.
The technology, capabilities, and design of the cars continued to advance. Aston Martin unveiled the DB5 in 1963. There were 1021 examples made. It was regarded as an advancement of the DB4, carrying on the design of its predecessor. A more powerful and potent engine was hidden behind the hood. The six-cylinder engine remained standard, but the Tadek Mereck straight-six now displaced 3995 cc and produced 282 horsepower. With the Vantage option, the output rating was boosted to 314 horsepower. The majority of DB5s came with a new ZF five-speed gearbox.
A Brace of Aston Martin DB5s
The DB5 built on the popularity of the DB4 by offering two doors and a four-seater saloon. The DB5 had electric windows and Armstrong Dampers, unlike the DB4. These were luxuries, but they also added weight to the car and reduced overall performance. The 0-60 time was 8.1 seconds, and the peak speed was 143 miles per hour.
The DB5s, like the DB4, came in convertible form. Coachbuilder Harold Radford created a total of twelve DB5 Shooting Brakes. The DB5 was produced until 1966, when it was superseded by the slightly bigger DB6, which provided rear passengers with a little more legroom. The DB5 is undeniably a popular automobile. It co-starred with James Bond in the film 'Goldfinger,' and it won the People's Choice prize at the 2002 Greenwich Concourse.
